RENÉ BOIVIN

René Boivin was passionate about Nature. He drew his inspiration from the animal world, from fruits as well as flowers. His jewels are renowned the world over for their suppleness. Each of them moves, twists or trembles to perfectly match their real world equivalent. In 1936 Juliette Moutard drew the first ‘Broche Étoile de Mer’ for the actress Claudette Colbert. The two spectacular examples illustrated are a perfect example of Juliette Moutard’s creativity and René Boivin's perfect craftsmanship.
