Each piece melon-fluted, each piece engraved with an initial 'R' below a Royal duke's coronet, comprising: a kettle, stand and lamp; a teapot; a coffee-pot and a hot-water pot; a sugar-bowl; a cream-jug and a pair of sugar-tongs, each piece fully marked, with a card inscribed by Queen Mary 'For Richard from Grannie Mary Christmas 1947'
