Patek Philippe introduced reference 5159 in 2007 with a larger case than its predecessor reference 5059 (please see Lot 2331 for an platinum example and lot 2441 for an pink gold example in this sale). It was first manufactured in yellow and white gold and since 2010 is available in pink gold also.

The present example offered here is fresh to the market.
