Lot Essay

The RM055 Bubba Watson was developed in 2012, inspired by the RM038 and is known as baby Bubba Watson. In 2011, Richard Mille took on the challenge to create a watch for golfers and, working with the PGA Tour player and double Masters winning golfer Bubba Watson, created the RM038, specifically designed to withstand the incredible g-force generated with a club is swung to drive a golf ball at nearly 200 mph.

The movement weights only 4.3 grams, and the band case in made of grade 5 titanium. The watch is engineered to reduce the weight as much as possible and to strengthen the structure of the case to provide the greatest resilience in the most challenging arenas, at the same time as proof on how Richard Mille brings creativity and innovation to the world of horology.

This RM055 in black is a special edition which further enhances its rarity.
