Lot Essay

The present watch impresses by its original condition, the attractive black lacquer dial beautifully harmonizing with the ivory tone of the luminous numerals and hands and the gilt printing of signature and scales.

Reference 5513 was launched in 1962, depth rated to 200 meters (660 ft), fitted with the 8 mm. crown, crown guards, the bezel with minute divisions for the first fifteen minutes and silver triangle, black dials with gilt printing. As of 1964, the designation "Swiss T<25" was added to the bottom of the dial.
