QI BAISHI (1863-1957)
PREVIOUSLY FROM THE COLLECTION OF JIANG WENJINJiang Wenjin (1906-1981), born in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages in Fu Jen Catholic University, and later received his Master’s degree in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin. He subsequently worked as the Director of Beijing Municipal Library, the Director of the Library of Dongwu University, and as the Deputy Director of the University of Pittsburgh Library. He was a student of Qi Baishi, and an avid collector of Chinese paintings and calligraphy.
