Lot Essay

Consigned by an important European collector, the present chronograph is offered in excellent overall condition with its original punched warranty stamped by the prestigious Chronometerie Beyer in Zurich.

In 1995, Tudor chronographs change their look. The cases, still "by Rolex", are redesigned into a thinner version with smoother lines. The bezel insert is now made of aluminium, the plexiglass is replaced by a sapphire crystal. The models are fitted with the improved version of the Valjoux 7750 automatic movement. Entirely refreshed, its finishing is called "special Tudor", the rotor now engraved and gilded.
