Lot Essay

Purchased by its present owner at Beyer Chronometrie in Zurich in 2013, the watch has never been offered in public before and is furthermore preserved in excellent overall condition.

Patek Philippe’s Annual Calendar ref. 5205G-001 and its sporty yet elegant design was launched in 2010 at Baselworld followed by the pink gold version in 2013. The model introduced the firm’s patented instantaneous digital display which is a feature also seen on the reference 5207, the minute repeating tourbillon perpetual calendar, and the new case design with pierced lugs.

Ref. 5205G was available with two different dial colours, two-tone rhodium and silvery grey with black ruthenium indexes, such as the present watch, and in two-tone black and slate grey.
