Lot Essay

Reference 5524 was first introduced by Patek Philippe at Baselworld 2015 to pay tribute to the courageous pioneers of aeronautics. The local time can be read by the baton style blue steel hand with Superluminova coating and adjusted by the pushers at 8 and 10 o'clock in forward and backward direction. Home time is distinguished by the skeletonised white lacquered hand. There are also two separated day/night indicators for both local and home time with apertures on the dial.
