Lot Essay

This work was previously in the collection of Zhuo Kaiji (1922-1999). Zhuo, born in Fenghua County, Zhejiang, was a personal bodyguard of Chiang Kai-Shek. After moving to Taiwan, he was the captain of the security team in the President’s residence.
