Lot Essay

With a striking resemblance to the Breguet Type XX chronograph, it is understood that Mathey-Tissot produced and assembled the Breguet Type XX wristwatches for Breguet, however they produced a very small number of similar flyback chronograph wristwatches under there own name. The present watch is one of the few acclaimed Type XX watches which are signed Mathey-Tissot. Furtermore, the present watch is accompanied by the very rare steel bracelet, produced by J.B Champion.
