Lot Essay

The Anniversary Langematik model was made in a limited edition of 500 examples in platinum between 2000 and 2004 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the re-establishment of the manufacturer.

The movement is fitted with A. Lange & Söhne patented zero-reset mechanism which simplifies the synchronization of the watch with a time signal. When the crown is pulled, the seconds hand automatically jumps to the 12 o'clock or zero position. In addition to its zero-reset mechanism, this watch has a clean and modern aesthetic appeal with its flawless white enamel dial, black Roman numerals and striking red-colored Roman numerals at 12 o'clock.

It is no wonder that this is considered one of the most desirable limited edition watches ever made by the storied German watch manufacturer.
