Case: 18k gold case, screw down back, screw down crown, 36 mm diam., signed

approx. 180 mm.

Lot Essay

The present ref. 1803 is a very well-preserved representative of the famous model, featuring a white matte dial with the signature of Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al Said. Furthermore, a close inspection of the dial will reveal an usual index configuration.

In fact, each individual index features an onyx centre line, giving a strong contrast between the cream color of the dial and the dark front of Sultan Qaboos signature.

It is also noticeable after inspection that the inside case back is restamped with the case number of the watch as well as RWC LTD (Rolex Bristish hallmark) which would confrm that the timepiece is part of a special order.
