"Depuis mon enfance, j’ai observé ces êtres, l’homme et le cheval, et ils sont restés un point d’interrogation pour moi. Il y avait au début une certaine ‘harmonie’ entre eux mais à la fin, contrastant avec cette unité, c’est le monde violent de la machine qui prend le dessus, un monde qui lui donne un aspect dramatique, qui n’est pas moins dynamique et plein de vie".
