Lot Essay

According to the Archives of Audemars Piguet, the present wristwatch was sold in 1997 to Poland.

It is a fine example of the rare Royal Oak Offshore Triple Calendar, in production for less than 2 years.

Introduced in 1989 as a re-imagined Royal Oak that could handle the lifestyle of the most active and adventurous collectors, the Offshore was designed by following a deconstructed approach, intending to showcase how the timepiece's key elements were built and allied together.

Today the model has become one of Audemars Piguet's most successful timepieces, a true symbol of fusion between luxury and sport aesthetics.
