Lot Essay

Reference 5110 was launched in 2000, much inspired by the celebrated reference 1415, Patek Philippe's first World Time watch introduced in the 1930s. Reference 5110 was replaced in 2006 by reference 5130. It was available in all four case materials, yellow such as the present example, white, pink gold and platinum (for a platinum 5110, please see lot 2256 in this sale)

To the best of our knowledge the present ref. 5110 has never been offered in public before.
