Lot Essay

Described by TAG Heuer as its ‘most ambitious luxury chronograph to date’, the MikrotourbillonS is not only extremely precise but also has the world’s fastest tourbillon. The chronograph is accurate to 1/100th of a second and the tourbillon itself can be started and stopped. This level of precision and speed is made possible only by the technical engineering involved in the piece, which in addition to the two different tourbillons also has two chains and two barrels. Housed in pink gold with a cutaway anthracite dial, the present example is very attractive and would make a good addition to any appreciator’s collection.
