Lot Essay

One of the most appreciated and well known vintage watches by Patek Philippe, reference 570 was Introduced in 1938 as a larger version of the reference 96 and remained in production until 1972. With a 35.5 mm. diameter, it was quite a large watch for the time, but it is a size that has aged incredibly well and is perfectly proportioned for the modern wrist. This, combined with the minimalist aesthetics and the standard 20 mm. lug width makes the reference 570 adaptable to almost any occasion.

To the best of our knowledge the present example has never been offered in public before.
