Lot Essay


David Finch, head of Manufacturing at Knoll International Canada Limited from 1957 to 1962 and friend of Harry Bertoia, sold the present lot to Lowell Williamson, husband of singer Dorothy McGuire of the McGuire Sisters, in the early sixties. The piece remained in their collection for over 40 years.

This lot is sold with a certificate of authenticity from the Harry Bertoia Foundation, Bozeman, Montana.
