Lot Essay

According to the archives of Gubelin, the present watch was manufactured in the mid-1940s.

Found in exceedingly small numbers, a steel Gubelin triple calendar wristwatch which is fully signed on its movement, case and dial, is seldom seen on the market. Its desirability is increased by its attractive two-tone dial color which has now aged to a light copper tone.

The case is in excellent and very well-preserved condition with full and sharp case proportions. One will notice the elongated curved lugs of this model which offers perfect vintage appeal.
