Lot Essay

The present timepiece is a strong example of fine and modern watchmaking. Housing a 7-day carrousel tourbillion and a patented dual escapement, it is difficult to imagine the amount of craftsmanship that goes into this work of art to allow its technical know-how but also its thin and lightweight appearance. Most unusually, the actual movement acts as the hands and the watch is wound by the caseback bezel.
