HENRY GIRAUD The Grand Cru village of Aÿ has been noted as one of the greatest wine growing regions of France for many centuries. Pinot Noir is kind here and in the right hands, the wines which hail from these much-revered vineyards, can become some of the Champagne regions most singular and long-lived. Today, Claude Giraud leads the house of Henri Giraud and he and his team craft some of the most beautiful, unique and sought after wines in Champagne. The level of attention to detail is extraordinary. All of the Fût de Chêne wines are aged in 100% Argonne oak, the wood for which selected tree-by-tree. The combination of superlative Grand Cru Pinot noir and these hand-selected barrels leads to incredible wines.
