Fu Junmin was accredited as Master of Chinese Wood Carving and Master of Beijing Craftsmanship, alongside with his publications in contemporary design and woodworking.

Fu incorporated cultural elements and philosophical essence into his designs to modernize traditional Chinese aesthetics, leading to his establishment of the Chinese classical style furniture brand Xuanming Dianju in 2001 and the Chinese neoclassical furniture brand Pingze in 2013.
