Lot Essay

The present ref. 16528 with champagne dial is preserved in very good overall condition.

The case displays full proportions and sharp hallmarks to its back, indications that the timepiece has been carefully looked after throughout the years. Furthermore both case and bracelet show subtle signs of oxidation, a characteristic of watches that have not been worn in a long time.

Reference 16528 was launched at the 1988 Baselworld and equipped with the now legendary Zenith ‘El Primero’ movement, the firm’s first automatic movement.
