Ref. 3998 was launched in 1989 and produced in all colours of gold and platinum. Different dial variations were made and most commonly fitted with gold applied index. Black dial with diamond hour markers were usually found in 3998P. To the best of our knowledge this is one of only 2 known examples in 3998G.
