Lot Essay

At the end of 1970 Rolex launched the last version of its manual Daytona with references 6263 and 6265. The models were available with stainless steel, 14K or 18K gold cases and remained in production until 1987.The difference between the two references is shown by the bezel with black acrylic insert featuring a printed tachymeter scale, ref. 6263, whilst ref. 6265 sports a metal bezel.
