Conceived in Paris in 1904-1905 and cast in an edition of eleven numbered 0 to 10; this example cast by Bingen & Costenoble, Paris, circa 1908

Anna Wallich, Berlin, by whom acquired directly from the artist on 27 April 1908, and thence by descent to the present owner.
