Lot Essay

The most significant trait of this watch, making it extremely attractive and sought after, is its enthralling red coral dial. Due to the natural variation in rock formation, each example fitted with a coral dial is unique, with each exhibiting a different veined texture to the last. This feature is so important that Rolex even removed all numerals from the dial to draw attention to it, resulting in a clean (yet far from dull) design.
