Lot Essay

The Montreal model was launched in 1972, during a period when Heuer began to significantly expand its range of watches. Certainly one of the firm's most colourful models ever made and standing out by its distinctive oversized case, the Montreal enjoys much popularity by aficionados of 1970s timepieces.

For a description and illustration of the different Montreal models see Heuer Chronographs by Arno Michael Haslinger, pp. 209-219.
