"Chu Teh-Chun is not a landscape painter frozen in his immutability and his grandeur, but he is a painter of nature, of what, in nature, is fluctuating, moving, transient. His work was born from two cultures, with a single desire: constructing through expressive color, making the whole picture speak through the sum of spontaneous and free gestures which, totalling body and mind, are both empty and light, warmth and life. The artist is a universe's sensitive plate. "
