A RARE RECTANGULAR WUCAI BOX
WANLI SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A LAPPET CARTOUCHE AND OF THE PERIOD (1573-1619)
The interior is decorated with peonies borne on leafy stems beside tall rocks and beneath clusters of double peaches. The exterior is decorated with shaped panels reserved on a diaper ground containing further peonies.
