A RARE BLUE AND WHITE OVOID JAR
JIAJING SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE IN A LINE AND OF THE PERIOD (1522-1566)
The jar is decorated in shades of underglaze cobalt blue with clusters of flowers issuing from leafy branches above a border of upturned leaves around the foot and beneath a band of pendent lappets around the shoulder.
8 7/8 in. (22.6 cm.) high, cloth box
