Highly collectible and without any douts one of the best looking vintage chronographs, the present model was nicknamed by Italian collectors 'Doppia Lancetta' which means “double hand,” but it is not to be confused with a split-seconds chronograph.
Only a handful of this model have ever appeared at auction. The silvered dial and the excellent condition of its case are attractive - crisp markings to its case back, with the number ‘235’ stamped under the top right lug, replicating the number found on the case back.
A final touch of rarity is the ‘LXW’ stamp found on the movement, indicating that the watch was intended for the American market.
