'What I do could be considered as a sort of recycling. I deconstruct and give new life to images from the past, and in these reinterpretations, I’m guided by my personal emotions and experiences. This perspective is crucial in my process. I replace classical elements with those coming from the world of nature, which are wild and ambiguous. By juxtaposing seemingly incompatible worlds I want to overturn a well-known order and free sensuality. My paintings come about from a deep desire to break existing patterns and bring out emotions, feelings, and passions.'
