Time only with indirect center seconds encased in a 18k pink gold round case with stepped lugs with a two-tone pink sector dial with pink gold and blued steel hands.
The concept was to create a unique timepiece that symbolises the human warmth behind the Only Watch charity auction. This warmth, combined with a delicate elegance, has been the main axis we had in mind throughout the creation process of the AdC21 Only Watch.
True to this concept, we created a specially designed new case in the warmest material; 18k pink gold. The stepped shape of the lugs gives a delicate touch to the overall design that is completed by a timeless two-tone pink sector dial with leaf pink gold and a blued steel hands. The result is a noticeable “pink on pink” look.
The aesthetics of this indirect center seconds calibre is characterised by the beauty of the 18k pink gold-plated tone of the bridges combined with silver accents of the rhodium plated wheels and other parts. A rich mixture of high-end traditional finishes like handmade frosting, anglage, perlage, étirage des flancs, colimaçonage, polished countersinks, black polish and polished teeth make this timepiece unique.
HISTORY OF THE BRAND
Atelier de Chronométrie was born in Barcelona in 2014 and is the embodiment of a romantic vision of high-end watchmaking by a small team led by Santiago Martínez. Since then, our commitment has been to a return to the past of the art of artisanal watchmaking. Striving to recover the essence of this art which encapsulates manual processes where the hand is the key, and aesthetically, forging a timeless design inspired in the 30’s-40’s of the 20th century. Our dream is to transform the acquisition of a watch into an unrepeatable experience where the collector plays a part in his watch creation. To achieve this, we use the unlimited freedom that artisanal work offers to make one of a kind timepieces, taking uniqueness to the highest level. Each and every AdC timepiece represents this way of understanding high-end independent watchmaking.
