LAURENT FERRIER has envisioned a unique timepiece specially designed for Only Watch 2021 and marked by the theme of hope. It features a manual 3-hand movement, the latest calibre addition to the LAURENT FERRIER collection. The brand's iconic case, with its rounded shape, is available in stainless steel, for the first time on the Classic Origin.
This singular timepiece reveals a unique green aquamarine dial with 18-carat white gold drop shaped hour markers. This soft and refreshing colour is intended to represent youth, renewal, and optimism. A true tribute to Luc Pettavino, who, each time, offers a new flash of hope, not only to those affected but to everyone. Furthermore, a silvery-white opaline small seconds dial is placed at 6 o'clock. By using white, LAURENT FERRIER also wanted to honour the resilience of the entire medical profession after what has been a troubled year.
EXPERIENCE
LAURENT FERRIER is very pleased to invite the future owner of the Classic Origin Hope to a complete visit to the LF workshops. It is like following the entire path of the creation of a watch, from the first creative stages to the final touch. You will have the pleasure of meeting all the creators who brought your timepiece to life. We’ll welcome you to live the whole LF experience and see, with your own eyes, how each detail is the object of meticulous care.
HISTORY OF THE BRAND
In 1970, Laurent Ferrier began racing quite competitively and found himself competing in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans with his friend, François Servanin. What he did not realise was that this friendship would lead him both to a podium position in 1979 as well as the creation of his own brand. In 1979, in a Porsche 935, they won third place overall. A watchmaker in heart and mind, Laurent Ferrier nurtured a long-cherished horological dream: reviving the kind of watchmaking that should never have ceased to exist, within one takes the time to do things properly. In 2008, his project became a reality, when François Servanin gave him carte blanche to create his own watch. Free from all constraints, he produced the pieces of his dreams. In 2010, he gave his name to a new generation of exceptional timepieces. LAURENT FERRIER would become our bridge between the past and the present.
