The present timepiece is offered in 'like new' overall condition and sold with the full set of accessories.
It is affectionately nicknamed the "Kermit" by collectors due to the green ceramic bezel and black dial combination that was used for the Submariner 16610LV "Kermit" launched in 2003 to celebrate 50 years of the Submariner model. The ceramic green bezel is a feature of the recently discontinued reference 116610LV, known to collectors as the “Hulk” which has a green dial.
This new reference features redesigned thinner slightly concave lugs which give the watch a more streamlined profile than its predecessors and a new calibre 3525 movement with approximately 70 hours power reserve. The case is made from the special corrosion resistant Rolex alloy “Oystersteel”, the “Cerachrom” bezel is virtually scratchproof.
