The present ref. 5013P is an epitome of Patek Philippe's outstanding craftsmanship - the dial design is certainly one of the most attractive seen on this rare reference by Patek Philippe. The 'powerful' looking black dial with the sought after and attractive Roman numerals will not go unnoticed amongst collectors.
This charismatic dial was made on special request by the first owner - although the Certificate of Origin states that the dial fitted on this reference was the standard version of silver colour with Breguet numerals.
The present watch is one of the most attractive references 5013 - its desirability resides in the exclusive black dial, further enhanced by the extremely well-preserved condition. It is furthermore believed that only 45 references 5013P were produced from which 15 are identified back to the market. According to our researches, the present timepiece is the only example known in platinum with black dial and Roman numerals. Furthermore, the watch is offered with an additonal silvered dial.
