Details
Château d'Yquem 1908
Sauternes, 1er grand cru classé
In original wooden case. Three slightly damaged capsules. Excellent appearance. Levels: seven top-shoulder and five upper-shoulder
Harvested 16 September – 22 October
Tasting note : Recorked in 1995. The colour of black treacle or Pedro Ximenez; nose reminding me of an 1863 Malmsey, hard edged, tangy, pure rancio, flavour of dried pruned and burnt raisins. August 1998 Michael Broadbent.
