THE FIRST COMMERCIAL VINTAGE OF SASSICAIA
Nicolò Incisa della Rocchetta convinced his father The Marchese Mario Incisa della Rocchetta to release the 1968 vintage of Sassicaia to the public. Until this vintage the wine had been for private family consumption. It is rare to see this vintage at auction and bottles in such good condition, with impeccable provenance, are true 'unicorn wines'.
