The present Audemars Piguet Royal Oak "Japan Boutique Edition" is a limited edition of 70 pieces only. The "Japan Boutique Edition" was also available in pink gold and limited to only 30 pieces. Highly attractive and rare, the present specimen is distinguished by the combination of a platinum case with bracelet and an onyx dial and diamond-set indexes. The Royal Oak collection was introduced in 1972, redefining the identity of a sports watch.
