Lot Essay

Cette sculpture reprend le thème de la tête habitable, projet architectural développé par François-Xavier Lalanne en 1973 en collaboration avec l'architecte Emile Aillaud, compagnon de Charlotte Aillaud. Ils réaliseront ensemble la Tête monumentale pour le collège d'enseignement supérieur Jean Vilar de Grigny, dont les traits sont très similaires à notre oeuvre.

This sculpture takes up the theme of the habitable head, an architectural project developed by François-Xavier Lalanne in 1973 in collaboration with the architect Emile Aillaud, Charlotte Aillaud's partner. They realized together the Monumental head for the school Jean Vilar of Grigny, whose features are very similar to our work.
