Lot Essay

This rare dogwood chandelier, remarkable by its irregular border, was acquired directly from Tiffany Studios by Frederick and Emma Mueller in 1906 for their new home on Nobel Road in Shaker Heights, Cleveland. The young couple was first entranced by Tiffany Studios' spectacular display of leaded glass lamps at the Chicago World's Fair (World's Columbian Exposition) in 1893.
