The present reference, 30030⁄000P-8200, is fitted with the caliber 1755SQ movement, introduced in 1992, which measures only 3.28 millimeters in depth, the thinnest minute repeater ever made by Vacheron Constantin and thinner than the more recent caliber 1731 that was introduced in 2013, which measures 3.90 millimeters.
