CHINE, DYNASTIE MING, MARQUE À SIX CARACTÈRES EN BLEU SOUS COUVERTE ET ÉPOQUE WANLI (1573-1619)
Ornés sur leur renflement central de jardinières fleuries sous une frise de ruyis, sur leur panse de rochers percés fleuris et sur leur col de rinceaux feuillagés et fleuris ainsi que de feuilles de bananier, le bord supérieur souligné de rinceaux.
H.: 83,2 cm. (32 3⁄4 in.) et 84 cm. (33 1⁄8 in.).

See a very similar Wanli mark and period blue and white gu vase of a comparable height (84 cm. high) from the Ernest Grandidier Collection at the Musée Guimet, Paris, inv. no. G 2289. Another Wanli mark and period blue and white vase of a comparable slightly slenderer shape is preserved in the Palace Museum in Beijing, inv. no. 新00082476.
