The Royal Oak collection was introduced in 1972, redefining the identity of a sports watch. With groundbreaking designs, the Royal Oak secured a discerning and informed audience and became throughout the years the emblem of the Audemars Piguet manufacture as well as a true icon within the watch community. In 1998, Audemars Piguet updated their Royal Oak collection with the integration of the chronograph function housed in a 39mm case. Launched in 2012, the Royal Oak Chronograph 41 is an updated version of the model with a larger modern case size and wearability.
