The Oriental Navigator, or New Directions for Sailing to and from the East Indies... to which is added the India Officers and Traders Guide in purchasing the Drugs and Spices of Asia and the East Indies. Philadelphia: James Humphreys, 1801.
First American edition. Huddart's pilot was first published in London in 1794 by Laurie & Whittle and was a very useful book upon its publication for the blossoming American-China trade route headed by such merchants as Robert Morris of Philadelphia.
