THE SPOONS AND FORKS MARK OF MAURICE MAYER, PARIS, 1826-1846, THE KNIVES MARK OF PIERRE QUEILLE, PARIS, 1834-1846
Comprising twenty dessert spoons, twenty dessert forks, and twenty dessert knives, the gilt bowls, tines, and blades with mounts cast and chased with lizards, grapevines, and pendant grape bunches, with faceted rectangular bloodstone handles, engraved on the knife blades and reverse of the spoon bowls with a crest and motto, in a fitted green leather case lined with claret color velvet with two lift-out trays, stamped on the cover with gilt monogram E.W.F. within an embossed foliate border
