Lot Essay

The Datograph Up/Down
The Datograph Up/Down was the long-awaited update to the original Datograph which was introduced in 2012 and still in production today. The watch brought many changes including a size increase from 39mm to 41mm, the disappearance of Roman numerals, and the introduction of a power-reserve indicator. The original Datograph had a reserve of 36 hours, the Up/Down currently has a respectable 60-hour reserve. The new movement is still the same caliber, but it is updated to the L951.6. It is an improved caliber in terms of power reserve and complications.
