Lot Essay

The present watch, Calatrava 5153 features an exemplar officer-style case with straight lugs. The case for this reference can be in white gold with either a black or silver opaline dial, or in yellow or rose gold with the silver opaline dial. The watch features a hand guilloche finishing, dauphine hands, a center sweep seconds hand and a date display at three. This watch is the classic dress watch for any collector.
